University Bound

Going to University

This is a time of transition for many. In fact, going to university may be an exciting adventurous move, but quite intimidating to say the least. For Trinibagonians there is an emerging trend whereby, parents or guardians graciously help their university bound loved ones by purchasing a vehicle for them.

This is quite an admirable trend, as we all have the need for a reliable mode of transportation and nothing compares to having a vehicle of your own. In addition to the fact that it adds to one's personal safety and sense of autonomy, daily time constraints, stress and strain are greatly diminished for parents/guardians who otherwise would have had to traverse the highway with laundry and food in tow.

Popular amongst the Freshmen, Juniors and Seniors, no matter what stage of their academic journey they get their vehicle are the following selections:

Small-Sized Cars

  • Nissan Tiida Sedan/Hatchback
  • Subaru Impreza
  • Suzuki Swift

Crossovers

  • Juke
  • Dualis

Least popular selections:

  • BMW
  • Jeep
  • Mercedes Benz
  • Range Rovers
