Car Maintenance

Car Maintenance

Undoubtedly, the care one doles out to their vehicle will potentially have great returns, not only on vehicle performance but there may be a lucrative advantage. Anyone wishing to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, may gravitate to one that needs the least maintenance and appears to provide greater value for money.

Here are a few suggestions for caring for your vehicle.

  •            Try not to smoke/allow smoking in the vehicle. The smoke fumes become integrated in the upholstery fabric and circulated into the A.C. This gives the user of the vehicle an unflattering scent whilst in the vehicle and the fumes also get integrated into ones clothing. So, even if one does not smoke they may leave the vehicle smelling like they do.

  •        Wash the vehicle to remove dirt and other unsightly debris. Yes to some this is a tiresome project, but it will have benefits on the appearance and the preserve the integrity of the paint.

  •         New car is a formulation that may be applied to the vehicle’s interior such as the dashboard, steering wheel, side panels and the like as well as the exterior. This gives the new life to the warn-out appearance of a sun-beaten areas of vehicles. It is quite durable so reapplication is not necessary for up to 1 year.

  •        Have tires balanced and rotated. Also, change your tires so that they do not become threadbare.

  •        Take the vehicle for its scheduled maintenance.

  •        If you are not an 'auto-buff', or just know your way around the inner-workings of a vehicle- make sure that the levels and clarity of the oils are checked; coolant, and battery are up to par.

Your vehicle, like the human body needs care and attention. If you want the best out of your body you eat, rest, exercise and do what is best so that you attain optimum performance. So think of your vehicle as an extension of yourself.

Most of all have fun!
