There has been a concerted impetus to conserve our precious natural resources. This has led many people to make smarter choices regarding the effects that their mode of transportation will essentially have on the environment. The auto manufacturers have responded to market demands by providing vehicles that consumers may opt for that are low emission. Here are five of the vehicles that are considered to be ultra-low emission.

According to BMW may of the purchasers of this fine vehicle have never owned a vehicle previously. The company’s brand appeal and technology used in this vehicle has enticed affluent buyers.


The Vauxall Ampera

This vehicle has been heralded as having complicated technology, however it’s suitability can capture the attention of conventional buyers including the family and fleet customers.



The Nissan Leaf

Simply, the Nissan Leaf is:
- Small/Compact
- Affordable
- Eco-friendly
-Increasing availability of charging stations.



The Renault Zoe

The Renault Company promotes this vehicle as one suited for commuting to school and supermarket runs. The Zoe enables one to make their urban commute without burning fossil fuels.



The Toyota Prius Plug-in

The Prius has certainly made its mark as the Company has reported that previous Prius owners would opt to purchase another, but then convert to the Plug-In. Toyota has recognized that most customers that opt for the Plug-in are technophiles, and middle-aged. 




There are obvious trade offs with the choice of purchasing an eco-friendly vehicle. It is dependent on the particular taste of the individual and the context within which the vehicle will be used. 
The question is, would you be willing to trade size, the perceived inconvenience of recharging and the like to drive one of these?
